SELEN GÜLÜN (セレン・ギュリュン)

As a leading contemporary musician in Turkey, Selen Gülün combines her Western music education and her Turkish soul in her work as composer, pianist, and singer. She has attained critical acclaim internationally and had her music performed in countries around the world including Austria, Germany, Holland, Iceland, the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, France, the USA, Japan, Cambodia, Pakistan, Lithuania, Russia, Mozambique, and Turkey. She has released six albums to date. KAPI, her electro-acoustic, improvisational album with her long-term Italian collaborators Marcello Allulli and Emanuele de Raymondi was released in Italy in July.

トルコ人作曲家、ピアニスト、歌 Selen Gülün (セレン・ギュリュン)がソロで、Apolloに帰ります。トルコの代表的な現代音楽家であるセレン・ギュリュンは、トルコの魂と西洋音楽の融合ともいう べき音楽で、国際的にも高く評価されている。セレンは既に5枚のアルバムを発表しており、彼女が作曲した音楽はヨーロッパをはじめ、日本、アメリカ、ブラ ジル、ロシア、カンボジア、モザンビーク等幅広く演奏されている。ぜひ、彼女の演奏のなかに潜む、トルコの調べを探しに来てください。2016年にには6 枚目のアルバムKAPIをイタリアと日本でリリース予定。これは、長年コラボレートしてきたイタリア人Marcelo AllulliとEmanuele de Raymondiと制作したものである。

NORIAKI HOSOYA    細谷紀彰

After graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, as performance & jazz composition and arranging major, he moved to Berlin, Germany in 2010. In 2011, he became, and is still, musical director of Canadian singer Rachelle Jeanty (ex. background vocalist of Celine Dion) as well as her bass player. In 2012, one of his Berlin based project “Falk Bonitz Trio” was invited to “Germany-Week” event hosted by German Embassy in Georgia. In 2010, his first solo album called “Landscapes“ (Disk Union Company) was published. In 2016 his upcoming album with European musicians will be published. He is currently an endowed artist of Adamovic Basses (the Netherlands), Vanderkley Amplification (the Netherlands), and DL Cables (Poland). He moved back to Japan in 2016 and is currently based in Tokyo.

AKIRA NAKAMURA   中村亮

彼のドラミングはボストン、バークリー音楽大学で学んだJazz , Blues , R&B の土台の上に、幼少期から慣れ親しんだ沖縄音楽、クラシック音楽の影響が重なる。そのユニークなスタイルから、バンド編成のライブからシンガーとのデュオなど変則的なものまである。現在、自身のバンドelement of the moment, Akira Nakamura Trickstewart Bandに加え、ミュージシャンのみならずダンサー、ペインターなど多方面のアーティストとのコラボレーションも積極的に行っている。 2014年より東京、沖縄などを中心にリズムに関するワークショップも行っている。沖縄県出身。主な共演者 David Fiucyzinski、Sam Kininger、上原ひろみ、Tony Grey、Kokolo Afrobeat Orchestra、Angelo Moore (Fishbone)、高良結香、ハナレグミ、Monday 満ちる、タテタカコ等。

Akira’s drumming combines the influence of Okinawa music and classical music from his childhood years with the jazz, blues, and R&B foundations he learned at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Because of his unique way of approaching the drums, his shows are not only full band form but many duos with singers or the other instruments. Currently, Akira mainly plays with his own band element of the moment , Akira Nakamura Trickstewart Band and also collaborating with different genre of arts ,such as painters and dancers as well. He also conducts workshops about rhythm and ensemble in Tokyo and Okinawa. His main collaborators include David Fiucyzinski, Sam Kininger, Hiromi Uehara, Tony Grey, Kokolo Afrobeat Orchestra, Angelo Moore (Fishbone), Yuka Takara, Hanare Gumi, Monday Michiru, and Tate Takako.
